How to Cure Sickness
Just like real people, your little family members will get sick on occasion. It's important to get them to right medicine as soon as possible so they can get better and move on with their lives.
Diagnosing the Sickness
The first step is to attempt to diagnose the problem. This can be accomplished by picking your little person and then putting them down a few times. You should see a symptom such as "coughing" or "sneezing." This will give you a clue as to what's wrong with them and how to treat it.
Buying Medicine
Once you have an idea of what's wrong with your little person, it's time to purchase some medicine in the store to treat them. Click on the store button at the bottom of the screen and the clicking on the food and medicine category. The medicine is at the bottom of the list. Purchase the appropriate medicine and then use it on your little person.
Symptom | Medicine |
---|---|
Coughing | Antitussive Syrup |
Sneezing | Antihistamine |
Headache | Anti-Inflammatory Pill |
Itchy | Cortisone cream |
Sore Throat | Throat Lozenges |
Upset Stomach | Peptic Syrup |
Hiccups | Water - Drop them on a sink |
Serious Infection | Vancomycin |
Infection | Penicillin |
For infections, its' a good idea to get a doctor's consult first to see exactly what your little friend needs.
If you can't afford it, you can try this version: When you cure your person, if they immediately get sick again, go for the Vancomycin. If they are feeling well for awhile, then it's probably just a lesser infection, requiring penicillin.
